A Romantic Celebration in the Heart of Key West
Casa Marina Resort set the stage for this unforgettable destination wedding in Key West, Florida. With its historic charm, oceanfront setting, and palm-lined grounds, it was the perfect backdrop for a celebration full of love, color, and tropical elegance.
I had the honor of designing and producing all the detail of the couple’s custom wedding stationery from their save the dates to their invitation suites. Every piece was created with their unique story and location in mind.
A Save the Date That Set the Tone
The couple wanted to give guests a preview of the destination magic to come. We created a custom save the date card featuring a hand-painted watercolor illustration of Casa Marina, showcasing the Spanish architecture, with flamingos and palm fronds. Whimsical watercolor paired with elegant typefaces gave this piece a timeless yet tropical feel.
Custom Wedding Invitation Suite with Tropical Elegance
The couple’s wedding invitation suite was designed to reflect the relaxed luxury of Key West while still feeling refined and elegant. We used a palette of pastels, greens, and coral tones, with calligraphy-inspired typography and custom illustrated details throughout.
Every element was carefully considered, from printing on thick cotton paper to matching envelope liners and colorful enclosure cards. The full suite was assembled and mailed to each guest, handled completely by my studio.

One of the standout pieces in this suite was a custom watercolor map of Key West, which served as an insert card in the invitation envelope. It featured the island’s most beloved landmarks, from Mallory Square to the Southernmost Point, and included icons for the couple’s wedding weekend events.
Not only was it functional for guests, it added a meaningful, personal touch to their destination celebration.
Tropical Details Meet Timeless Design
The bride’s bouquet, bursting with vibrant tropical blooms, echoed the colors and flower illustrations we used throughout the suite. These thoughtful details—tying floral design, location, and paper goods together—helped create a cohesive and elevated guest experience.
