Nice to Meet You

From the earliest days of my childhood in Brazil, I found solace and expression in art. Sketching and painting were my refuge, and art class was a sanctuary during my school years in Florida. When it came time for college, I opted not to pursue a formal art major. I wanted to preserve the purity of my passion, steering clear of the notion that art had to be obligatory. Instead, I opted for political science, a seemingly distant choice that, although valuable, unexpectedly deepened my appreciation for art. It was during this time that I embarked on my journey as a freelance graphic designer, crafting everything from gig posters for local bands to comprehensive branding packages for corporate clients.

The pivotal moment in my artistic journey occurred when my beloved nephew and his now-wife asked me to design their wedding invitations. This endeavor not only marked my foray into the world of wedding stationery design but also ignited a profound interest in the industry itself. As the pandemic settled in, affording me the opportunity to focus on my craft while raising a small child, I made a deliberate shift from general graphic design to focusing on wedding design. I discovered my true passion: creating bespoke stationery that captures the essence and style of each unique couple.

Driven by the joy of couples unveiling meticulously crafted invitations, I transitioned to the enchanting realm of wedding design. These pieces, more than paper and ink, embody a couple's love story. I owe gratitude to the wedding design community for inspiration and guidance, transforming my dream job into reality. Each project is a reminder of the privilege of being entrusted with a significant part of a couple's journey toward forever.
